The Power of Early Seeking

David wrote in Psalm 63:1: You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you. David was a king with armies and palaces — yet his first hunger was for God. This discipline of early seeking made him a man after God's own heart. When you reach for God before anything else, you put spiritual law into motion. Isaiah 40:31: Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. Eagles do not flap frantically — they catch the updraft. Morning prayer positions you on that updraft. Even ten focused minutes in the Word each morning will transform the quality of your entire day. Consistency builds momentum and momentum builds a life of faith.

Prayer

Lord, I seek You first above all else this morning. Fill me with Your Spirit and wisdom. Let me not lean on my own understanding but trust You in every decision today. I am Yours — lead me and let Your glory shine through all I do. Amen.
