Godly Ambition: Why God Wants You to Prosper

Many believers carry a false humility that rejects prosperity. This teaching corrects the theology and shows that God designed abundance for His people as a testimony to His nature.

Deuteronomy 28:1-143 John 1:2John 10:10Matthew 6:33
There is a damaging lie in some Christian circles: that poverty is holy and prosperity is worldly. This is not biblical. It has kept generations of believers small when God designed them for greatness. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 outlines the blessings of obedience: The Lord will make you the head, not the tail — always at the top, never at the bottom. He was describing the normal life of someone who walks in His ways. Joseph is the ultimate biblical example of godly prosperity. Sold into slavery, imprisoned unjustly — yet everywhere Joseph went, he rose to the top. Genesis 39:2-3 says the Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered. His master saw that the Lord gave him success in everything he did. Joseph's prosperity was a testimony. Your prosperity is not just for you. It is a testimony, a resource for the Kingdom, and provision for your family and those you are called to bless. John 10:10 records Jesus saying I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The issue is never whether God wants you prosperous — it is whether your character can carry the prosperity. As your soul expands in faith, integrity, and wisdom, your capacity to multiply wealth increases.
