The delay is not denial — it is the forging of a faith strong enough to steward the promise when it arrives. True biblical faith is also inseparable from corresponding action. James 2:17 reminds us that faith without works is dead. Noah built an ark before a single drop of rain fell. Peter stepped out of the boat before he could walk on water. The Israelite priests had to step into the flooded Jordan before the waters parted. God honors the faith that moves, that risks, that obeys before the outcome is visible. If you are waiting for perfect conditions before you act on God's word, you will wait forever. Faith is spelled R-I-S-K, and every wealthy saint in Scripture took a step of holy obedience that others were unwilling to take. Furthermore, faith is the shield that protects your prosperity from the enemy's assaults. Ephesians 6:16 tells us to take the shield of faith, wherewith we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. The adversary attacks the mind with doubt, fear, and lack-consciousness, seeking to abort the harvest God has ordained for you. But when you lift the shield of faith — declaring God's promises over your finances, your family, and your future — you extinguish every accusation and every anxious thought. Faith speaks what God says, not what circumstances scream. Beloved, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). This is not a one-time act but a continual posture of the heart. Every morning, choose to trust God's Word more than your bank statement. Every evening, thank Him for provisions not yet seen. Sow generously into His Kingdom, knowing that He who supplies seed to the sower will multiply your seed sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness (2 Corinthians 9:10). The wealth that faith produces is not merely material — it is the unshakable riches of a soul anchored in the character of God.
