The Law of Sowing and Reaping

Generosity is not charity — it is a spiritual law as reliable as gravity. This teaching reveals how giving activates the most powerful multiplication force in the universe.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7Luke 6:38Proverbs 11:24-25Galatians 6:7
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 establishes the foundational law of Kingdom economics: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. God loves a cheerful giver. This is agricultural law applied to finance. Every farmer understands: you must plant before you harvest. The seed in your hand is only potential; it becomes harvest only in the ground. Every dollar you give generously is a seed placed in Kingdom soil. Luke 6:38 gives us the multiplication formula: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. God is a generous multiplier. He does not return what you gave — He returns an abundant overflow. The condition is the posture of the heart. Giving under compulsion produces a different harvest than giving from genuine love and faith. When you give cheerfully and expectantly, you have activated spiritual law. Practically: identify causes, churches, and people aligned with God's purposes. Sow consistently and in good ground. You cannot out-give God.
