Reflection

Beloved, awaken this morning with holy expectation. The psalmist does not say 'this is a day' but 'THIS is the day' — the very one God Himself has fashioned with divine intention. Every sunrise is a fresh canvas painted by the Creator's hand, and you have been invited to walk through it as His cherished child. The troubles you carried yesterday do not have authority over the mercies that are new today (Lamentations 3:22-23). Notice the deliberate response the psalmist commands: 'we WILL rejoice.' Joy here is not a feeling that descends upon us by chance — it is a covenant choice, an act of worship, a declaration of faith. When you choose gladness in the Lord, you align your heart with heaven's perspective and unlock the abundance God has stored up for those who love Him. Even in seasons of waiting or wilderness, rejoicing becomes the soil in which breakthrough grows. Today, let your first words be praise. Let your steps be light with the knowledge that the King of the universe has prepared this day specifically for you — for your growth, your blessing, your purpose. Whatever comes, meet it with the unshakeable confidence that the Author of time is also the Author of your story.
